The 85-year-old lifestyle icon linked up with celebrity colorist Chris Appleton this weekend for a full-on pink transformation, and Appleton captioned the Instagram post announcing the finished look, "Welcome to the rose gold era," tagging Stewart. Honestly, the caption might undersell it, because she looks incredible. The color itself is a warm, luminous pink with golden undertones, more of a soft wash than a full pastel commitment. To get there, Appleton first added highlights using Schwarzkopf Professional’s BLONDME Premium Lightener 9+ mixed with 20 Volume Developer for a bright, even base. From there, he applied an allover gloss with IGORA VIBRANCE in 9.5-19 and 9.5-5, blended with 0-00 Clear to soften the pigment into that sheer, glossy finish.
